Thank you for your interest in being involved with The Jason Foundation (JFI). There are different opportunities for the various JFI office locations.
The most important way you can help in our mission is by advancing awareness of the problem and prevention of youth suicide.
Of course there are always ways you can get involved, or have your friends, family, and co-workers involved.
Jeans4Jason
Jeans4Jason is an easy way to raise funds while spreading youth suicide awareness.
JFI will send you, or you can download, a complete kit in exchange for your fundraising efforts to help promote your Jeans4Jason event. Your participants, usually required to wear business dress or uniform, can make a donation to The Jason Foundation’s Jeans4Jason and in return, wear jeans for a day.
This event will of course need approval from your supervisor, boss, or HR department if holding in a work environment. Use the Contact Form to request a Jeans4Jason kit.
Casual 4 a Cause
Casual 4 a Cause is a self-implemented fundraiser you can hold yourself with little preparation.
JFI will send you a poster & stickers in exchange for your fundraising efforts to help promote the casual event. Your participants, usually required to wear business dress or uniform, can make a donation to The Jason Foundation’s Casual 4 a Cause to be able to dress casual for a day.
This event will of course need approval from your supervisor if holding in a work environment. Click here to download a PDF of this poster for your office.
The 25th Annual Phillip Fulmer & Chuck McDowell Golf Classic
This golf classic is an annual event and The Jason Foundation’s only annual fundraiser. This golf tournament usually brings approximately 325 supporters including golfers, sponsors and volunteers.
Phillip Fulmer has maintained his role as National Spokesperson for The Jason Foundation since 1998 while Head Football Coach at the University of Tennessee. This year’s tournament will mark the 26th year of Coach Fulmer hosting the tournament, which he has done every single year of its existence.
Chuck McDowell is the founder and CEO of Wesley Financial Group and Wesley Mortgage, both based in Middle Tennessee. He is an entrepreneur who has spent the greater part of his long career focusing on providing services that have positively impacted tens of thousands of families.
The 2024 Tournament will be held on Tuesday, September 17, at the Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn. All participants enjoy eighteen holes of golf and exciting gifts on premier golf venues. The day concludes with dinner and an award ceremony.

Jason Foundation Reflection Garden
The Jason Foundation is looking to take full advantage of our beautiful campus in Hendersonville, TN.
For this reason, JFI has decided to create a Reflection Garden centered around the gazebo that was built on our property as part of an Eagle Scout Project. This will be a place of peace and reflection for community members, those who have lost a loved one, and advocates of suicide prevention.
As part of this program, we are offering the community at large the opportunity to be part of this special place. By participating in this program, you will help fund the new project located on our property and have recognition of your involvement. Engraved bricks are available to be purchased and will become a focal point of The Jason Foundation’s Reflection Garden. These bricks are often used to honor a loved one lost to suicide (In Memory Of) or an organization with a passion for prevention. Visit the link below for more information and to order you brick.
